Introduction

Welcome to AVS Xpress Help

 

This is an easy and friendly supporting HTML based on-line help.This Help allows to concentrate on whatever part of the Client need to learn about by automatically laying out generated topics in a consistent and professional style.All outputs are generated from an HTML based content.

 

Getting Started

 

The easiest way to find out whatever you need to know about the smallest details in the Client site is either to :

 

Select the part of the Client Window you want to learn about and press F1,then the Help Window then the Help Window will open to you with the specific topic you desired.
Or:
Go to the Help Menu at the Menu bar and choose Help Topics(F1),when the Help window appears to you, at the left side of it, there are tabs, you can either check the Table of Contents under the Contents tab and find whatever you are looking for, or go to the Search tab and type-in the topic you want to know about in the text field, then press Enter, or the "List Topics" button (so that all topics related to the word(s) you typed-in are listed and you can choose whichever most suites what you are looking for). The "Display" button displays the topic (the one you typed-in or the one you selected from the listed topics) for you.

 

In the Index tab you can type-in any letter(s)/word(s) in the text field and all topics containing these letter(s)/word(s) will be listed for you.

 

 

What's New in this Version

 

Version 8.0.0 of AVS Xpress has several new features and functions that make the dealing with it easier and more flexibility, we have taken our customer suggestions and notes in our consideration; the conclusion of that is new version which has the following of these feature

 

Add Templates:

This option prove that our system is user friendly system which allows you to build your strategy and add all indicators you need in certain study for specific symbol and execute the same strategy on other symbol when you want, so now can save your study as a template to use it another time.

 

Save Settings:

Now you can make your favorite interface by add/remove toolbars, icons, and screens then the system will save your changes automatically after close it.

 

Alerts Module:

You can create or remove alert for monitoring a certain symbol BID/ ASK price, i.e. when EUR/USD bid price  < 1.2523 system will produce sound alert.

 

AVS Xpress Language (VTL):

New release language for building trading strategies in a simple and easy scripting language. In the strategy center, trader can now build:

 

  • Customized indicators: bases on the built in 61 technical indicators and any other scripting, trader can now see the market trend upon his strategy online.
  • Scripts: trader can build any trading strategy script and perform back testing with powerful and details testing report output. However, up/down arrows are drown in the chart to show buy and sell points according to that strategy script.
  • Optimizer: by this part, trader can study the market according to a strategy script and produce the optimum period for best buy, sell and exit points.
  • Alerts: Create your own script and attaché it to the chart so that system will produce sound alert when this script hits.
  • Auto Trades: Write your own script for buy or sell and leave the system do the trade automatically for you!

Installation

 

  • Client side can be installed by downloading setup file from the corresponding trading platform link in the Market Maker Web site.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Logging On

  • Follow through the steps in this tutorial for a quick introduction to how to Log On to the System.

 

Log On to the System

 

  • To logon to the system:

 

Go to Administration Logon (Ctrl +L) .

 

Or:

 

Click on the in the toolbar.

  • When the small window appears to you, fill-in the valid user name and password given to you by your market maker. Once you do, you are officially connected to the system now and ready to use.
  • You can click on the check box: Save username and password, so you wouldn't have to type your username and password every time you log on.
  • Server: This term developed to specify the server you connecting through it, and it will be useful when you have Backup Server to switch your connection to it when you facing disconnection case with the main server, just need to fill server IP and Port number as follow format IP:Port.
  • Two or more Clients with the same Username & Password can be online at the same time (opening multiple sessions for the same client), and any changes made by one of them can be immediately seen by the others.

 

Changing your Password

 

  • The system allows you to change the password given to you by the market maker by doing this:

 

Go to Administration —» change password.

 

Or:

 

Click on the Icon in the toolbar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your Current State

Connecting

 

  • Connecting: the system is trying to connect.
  • If "connecting" sustained for more than 20 seconds please contact your administrator, where you may have a network problem like a firewall.
  • If you are working behind a firewall please contact your administrator too where you may need to open a certain ports or configure some kind of tunneling tools to run over a firewall.
  • To download some tunneling tools for working over proxy please download the file. Extract it and read the readme.txt file for more information how to configure it

 

 

Waiting

 

  • Waiting: the system got connected but is being downloaded to be ready to use.

  • Even when you are refreshing any part of the system, notice the words shown down your right screen side to give you an indication of the system's state.
  • At the far right end down side of the screen, you can tell if you are connected or not by the words: Connected/Disconnected.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Client Side Windows

  • If the logon succeeded, you will get the main trading screen that is divided into the following main portions:

 

Utility Toolbar | Account Hierarchy Window | Market Watch | Technical Analysis | Pending Window | Terminal Window.

 

Utility Toolbar

 

  • This toolbar and drill down menu have some action buttons like logon user, limit orders, new orders, account statement and send SMS (which sends the statements summary to the clients mobile under the logged office) and also other icons that concern the Charting system.
  • Above it is the Menu bar containing several menus that include those icons shown on the Utility Toolbar.

 

The Toolbar Icons

 

In order from left to right:

 

New Order • to make an order for trade
New Limit/Stop Order • to make a Limit/Stop order (Ctrl+S).
Refresh Data • to refresh the system's data (also chosen from the Trade menu (F5)).
Statement • To create a Statement (report) within a certain period of time.
Send SMS Summary

• Sends an SMS containing summary of your current market state
• Mobile number is filled when creating client and should be at this
• Format (962796487222).
Send Email Summary

• sends an email containing summary of your current market state.
Broadcast Message Displays the Broadcast Message window for you.
Log on to log on to the system.
Change Password to change your password used in logging on.
Accounts Displays/Hides  the Account Hierarchy window for you.
Symbols Displays/Hides the Symbols window for you.
Pending Orders Displays/Hides the Pending window for you.
Terminal Displays/Hides the Terminal window for you.
Chart Displays/Hides the Chart window for you.
Options Displays/Hides the Options Window for you (also chosen from Tools
• from the Menu bar).

 

Account Hierarchy Window

 

  • After logging on AVS Trader, Client Edition, a hierarchical Tree will be constructed with all accounts that belong to the associated logged user whether he was a normal client, office or introducer broker (IB) who can build sub-offices under his node as shown in the figure above.
  • By selecting the account in the tree you can start trading through your target back-office using the symbols at the symbols window.
  • The MM appears as a green house
  • The offices appear as a red house
  • The clients appear as Heads
  • If an account is a Coverage account, it is represented by a bag
  •  Groups appear as yellow folders
  • Any server of the three servers (Real , Demo, History) appears as a Globe
  • When a user is selected, a square should appear around it
  • When a user is online, you can distinguish him/her from other users by its color. All off line  users appear in black and white
  • When two users (Clients) are connected using the same username and password in different places, any transactions (orders, managing positions, etc) made by one of them can concurrently be seen by the other.
  • The tree is what distinguishes our system from any other system, as you can see, the office can see its clients beneath its node, and the MM can see all other offices and even the clients that belong to those offices. Search on tree now can be done by using either the Username or the Account Number (you put the username or the number of the Account you are looking for in the text field  above the Tree and press Enter, the corresponding account's trades and details will be displayed (activated)).

 

Indicators Tree

 

Simply you can attach your indicator to the chart window by double click on its name or right click on the desired indicator then choose Attach To Chart. Here you will find the most important and popular indicators which will help you in your study.

 

Custom Indicators

 

Now you can build your own indicator in simple and easy way, simply you will create your indicator by right click on the node then choose create, we have been developed a friendly wizard to help you in building your indicator, so you will fill all required information that the wizard tell you what it is need and you will get your indicator by using VTL.

 

In the Trade Script help you will find the syntax of equation for some indicators, so we advice you to read it very carefully to write the right syntax command for certain indicator.

 

By right click on the indicator you have created you will get a context menu which has many options

 

Create To create new indicator.
Remove To delete it.
Attach to chart To add it to your chart window
Modify To edit the equation of your indicator.

 

 

Scripts

 

This is a great option for you now by this option you can test a certain period or all history for specific symbol to get the best time to sell and buy. To do that you have to follow the wizard that we have developed it to offer a friendly and easy for use system, which will help you to build your strategy.

 

Here you will notice by following the wizard need for three scripts for sell, buy, and exit. So we have been careful to provide you a help file for this Trade Script Language VTL you can get it from help menu in the menu bar.

 

But you will see under this node you have four scripts which the most popular scripts like Bollinger Bands Script, Historical Volatility and Trend Script, Moving Average and RSI and Relative Strength Index(RSI).

 

By right click on any script context menu will appear which has the following options:

 

Create To create new script
Remove To delete that script
Attach To Chart To add it to chart window when you perform this option you will get a report called Strategy Tester Output which explain the period of history was tested and many things like the total number of trade, total profit, total loss, and more we invite you to test this feature.
Modify To edit that script

 

Optimizer

 

Under this node you will see two sample optimizers they are Relative Strength Index, and Simple Moving Average but the question is what the benefits of this option are? By running one of these optimizers you will run a back testing for certain period of history for specific symbol to get the best parameter you have to use it in your strategy. Parameter mean the period in day. By right click on any optimizer a context menu will appear which has the following options:

 

Create To create new optimizer
Remove To delete that optimizer
Attach To Chart To add it to chart window when you perform this option you will get a report called Optimizer Output which show the period of history was tested and many element will be useful to complete your strategy like the best parameter, Total Profit, Total Loss and more you have to try this option.
Modify To edit that optimizer

 

Alerts Tree

 

Now you can create alert to your indicator by following the wizard instructions, by this feature you will have alarm when your indicator reach to certain value that you specified it in your script. We prefer to read the Trade Script Help in the help menu to get more information about how to write your script.

Under alert node you will find two tested alert you can modify it any time by right click on any one of these you will get a context menu which has the following options:

 

Create To create new Alert
Remove To delete that Alert
Attach To Chart To activate that Alert. when you run any alert you a description for it will add in Alerts/ Auto Trades window which explain the name of alert and the start date of running.

Auto Trade

 

By this feature you can take a break and let our system do your job. Now you can create an auto trade script to let the system to buy and sell at certain value. You need to read AVS help carefully from help menu to be familiar with this language and to write free error script.

 

We have added some scripts under auto trade node to help you and you can modifying it at any time by right click on any one of these you will get a context menu which has the following options:

 

Create To create new Auto Trade script
Remove To delete that script
Attach To Chart To activate that Script you will see a description of it has added in Alerts/ Auto Trades window which explain the name of alert and the start date of running
Modify To edit that Script
 
 

 

 

 

 

Market Watch

  • This is the main currency, commodities stocks and CFD's rates window. It's fed directly and online from well-known and serious international banks and exchanges dynamically refreshed each second. These symbols are either direct to USD or crossed by other symbols.

 

  • You can order the symbols the way you prefer by simply Dragging & Dropping each symbol to the desired place.

 

A right-click on any of the symbols of the symbols window, gives you a context menu with the following options:

 

  • Trade Symbol: opens the Trade window for you, to trade on this symbol you've chosen.
  • Limit/Stop Order: Opens the Limit/Stop Order window for you to place a Limit/Stop order.
  • Chart: Opens the correspondent charting for the symbol you've chosen.
  • Report: Generates a printable HTML report of all the symbols showing exactly their current Bid, Ask, High, Low, and the Time of these prices.
  • Maximize: Maximizes the symbols window for you.
  • Double clicking on any symbol opens the Trade window.
  • The rest of the context menu shows how to customize your market watch (check links below).

 

Customizing your Market Watch | How to Trade using the System | Managing Orders

 

 

Customizing your Market Watch

 

  • The context menu generated by a right click on any of the symbols at the symbols window gives you the ability to control your market watch's appearance the way you prefer.
  • The context menu concerning the issue of customizing your market watch is detailed at the following table:

 

Hide A right-click on any symbol you desire to hide, then choosing "Hide" from the context menu, hides the corresponding symbol for you.
Show\Hide Symbols • Right-click anywhere in the Symbols window, gives you a context menu, choosing    "Show/Hide Symbols" opens a message box for you entitled:Show\Hide Symbols.
• You can either select All (hide all symbols) or None (do not hide any symbol; i.e: show all    symbols) by just clicking on All or None, or you can go to any symbol-name you want and    check the check box next to its name choosing it to be hidden
• Then Press the "OK" Button.
High light Choose which ever symbol you wish to high light to make it distinguishable, right-click on it then choose: "High Light", it will be high lightened for you.
Reset to Default Resets the symbol you've chosen to its default settings (before any changes were made).
Reset All to Default Resets all the symbols to their default settings (before any changes were made).
Market Watch Settings
High Light Settings
• You can control the high light settings from here.
• You can choose the High light color you want by clicking on the word Font then choosing    your color form the color palette.
• You can also check the Show check box if you want to show this symbol, or uncheck it if    you wanted hidden.
• The font size option here is disabled but you can control the size from the "Market Watch    Settings" option from this context menu.
• You can control the Market Watch settings (how your symbols appear)from here.
• You can choose the Symbol color you want by clicking on the word Font then choosing your    color form the color palette.
• You can also check the Default Settings check box if you want to return to the default    settings, or uncheck it if you don't.
• The font size option here allows you to change the sizes of all the symbols to your desired size.
• after you've made the desired changes, press the "Ok" Button.

 

 

Tick Chart

 

This new window will allow you to monitor prices for the current symbol tick by tick. Every tick reaches to your system will be drawn in the tick chart window. In order to show the tick chart for EUR/USD for example simply click on it from your market watch and activate the tick chart window

 

By the way, the last candle in the chart window is re-sizable candle. It takes new value every reached tick.

 

By right click anywhere in the window you will got a context menu contains the following options:

 

Chart will open chart window
New Order will open new order
Ask Line Will show the ask line
Grids Show or Hide slide grids
Cross Hairs Show or Hide slide vertical line
Clear Tick Chart Will clear data and show the newest ticks

Technical Analysis

 

  • AVS Xpress contains a special platform dedicated for charts and technical analysis in a simple, reliable and friendly environment. AVS Xpress Database, will support more than (27) years of historical Data.
  • The charts are automatically refreshed to match the change of prices (each amount of time set by you, by right clicking on it and choose: "Periodically" from which you can set the desired time).
  • To get the chart of a specific symbol you simply click on it, then right click on it and choose: Chart, and with in seconds, the corresponding chart appears to you.
  • Wide band of technical analysis with drawing features can be obtained from AVS :

 

(Right click on the chart: Technical Analysis " Drawing).

 

  • By AVS Xpress you can add many indicators as Variable moving Average indicator and you can Display Dwarves Boxes (To add indicators into your chart, simply right click on it, choose:
  • Technical Analysis " Add Indicator, and a drop down menu appears giving you the freedom to choose which ever indicator you please).

 

Candle volume price style is one more example; add your annotations and symbols on your chart. Besides, you can display prime number oscillator indicator, Gann fan drawing, Fibonacci arcs, volume ROC indicator,...etc

 

Note: AVS Xpress contains detailed help and description about how to use technical analysis and the charting system.

Pending Window

 

  • After asking for a quote, it will be queued in this window, awaiting the confirmation of the back-office.
  • Limit orders are also queued in the Pending Window till these orders hit.
  • Stop-loss and take profit orders done by "manage orders" in terminal window are also pended here till they hit.
  • The Right click anywhere in the Transaction Log window gives you a context menu with these options, Edit Order, or Cancel Order,also Report (clicking on it gives you a printable report in HTML showing all the pending orders with their details), and Maximize (which maximizes the Pending window for you).

 

 

Managing Orders

 

 

 

 

 

Terminal Window

  • All, either accepted orders from client or manually made from the Back-Office will be shown at this window and removed to the History Tab after closing each position.
  • This window includes:

 

 

 

Trade Tab

 

  • This window shows all open positions
  • It shows the details for each opened position:

 

(The Ticket number, Time, Type (Buy or Sell), number of Lots, the Symbol, the price at which you made the trade, the Closing price, SL, TP, the Commission, the Interest if any exists, and their expected Profit or Loss).

 

  • Commissions are now displayed with a minus (-) sign.
  • Right-clicking on any position in the Trade tab window, gives you a context menu with options that you can manipulate the position according to which:

 

(New Order,Manage Limits/Stops), and of course the final two options, the Report option that gives you a printable HTML report of all opened positions at the Trade tab window, and the Maximize option,that maximizes the window for you).

 

  • It also has two buttons:

 

"New Order" button for selecting a quote and making a trade by specifying the symbol, number of lots, and a buy or a sell order.

 

"Manage SL/TP" button for managing positions.

 

Net Trade Tab

 

  • This window is very useful in the back-office and client as it clarify each currency and the total number of open lots, not hedged lots, average open price, current close price and the floating profit loss for the net of that symbol for a specific account.
  • It gathers all buy operations for the same currency into one, and all sell operations for the same currency into one.
  • For example, if a trader bought 1 lot EUR/USD in three positions, in the net trade window, the three positions are gathered into one, buying 3 lots.
  • Right click anywhere in the Net Trade window gives you a context menu with two options, the first one is Report (clicking on it gives you a printable report in HTML), the second one is Maximize (which maximizes the Net Trade window for you).

 

History Tab

 

  • All closing positions appear in the history window.
  • Right clicking in the History Tab, gives you a context menu with the following options:

 

A list of periods: you can select any one of them to see the history of orders during which.

Report: to generate a printable HTML report of the closed positions.

Maximize: to maximize the History window.

 

Journal Tab

 

  • Includes all transactions a client has, all the orders he/she managed, all the accepted positions,the rejected or ignored ones and why they were rejected or ignored.
  • It simply includes everything.
  • Right click anywhere in the Journal window gives you a context menu with Three options, the first one is Clear Journal, which clears the journal for you, the second one is Report (clicking on it gives you a printable report in HTML),the third one is Maximize (which maximizes the Journal window for you).

 

Mailbox Tab

 

  • Clients and MMs can exchange emails with each other.
  • To send an email, click on the New button (or right click on the account you wish to send to, then choose: "Send Mail").
  • When the email window appears to you, in the To-text field, right down the user name of the other client you want to send to, or if you wanted to send to the BackOffice, there is a drop down menu from which you can choose: BackOffice (if you have right clicked the account to which you want to send, the TO-Text field will already have his/her username when the email window appears to you).
  • If you wanted to get any information from us, right down: Support in the To-Text field.
  • After you specified the desired Username in the To-Text field,right down your subject in the Subject-Text field, then your email in the Text box, and finally click on the Send button.
  • Notice down the left side, a sentence should appear saying: Mail has been sent successfully, as an indication that your email has actually been sent with no errors.
  • The zero (0) that appears at the left side under the Subject-Text field shows the number of Characters written so far when you start writing your email in the text box.
  • The Discard button in the mail widow clears the text.
  • If you use an invalid user name, as soon as you click send, an email gets sent to you from the system to notify you that you used an invalid user name.
  • When you want to delete your mails, click on Delete after you select the emails you want to delete, and they'll all be deleted (A sentence at your left down side appears as a confirmation saying: Mail has been deleted successfully).
  • Users can check their mail either by clicking on the Mailbox tab to see their inbox, or by right clicking on the client on the tree and choose: "Check Mail" from the Mailbox sub-menu. (Other options can be seen and easily understood from the previous right-click menu).

 

Alerts

 

Now by this option you can take a coffee break and the system will alarm you when certain symbol reaches your targeted value when press right click a context menu will appear which has the following options:

 

  • New Alert: Here you can set your alert by fill all required information to run this feature. By this window you have to determine which symbol and the targeted value and it is important to determine the type of condition either BID or ASK with its compression operator. Ex: When the value of Bid for GBP/USD greater than 1.9570 alert me (Here the symbol is GBP/USD, Condition BID>, Value is 1.9570).
  • Be careful to keep it enabled :
  • Timeout: The time between every alarm sound.
  • Max. Iterations: The maximum number for repeating the sound.
  • Sound File: Here you can change your sound by fill the whole path for that desired sound file.
  • Edit Alert: Use this option to edit your alert by change any value you have set.
  • Delete Alert:To delete your alert from your list you have to press right click on the desired alert then choose delete alert.
  • And you can Enable or Disable and Reset your alert.

 

Changing Sizes of the Windows

 

  • If you wish to change the size of any of the windows, simply right click on the desired one and choose: Maximize, if you wanted to restore it back to its original size, again, right click on it and choose: Normal Size.
  • You can hide the windows you don't wish to see by clicking on the View tab from the Menu Bar, and you can un-tick whichever window you do not wish to appear giving space for other windows (or, on the contrarily, show whichever window you wish by placing a tick next to its name in the View Menu).

 

 

 

 

 

How to Trade using the System (& How to Close a Position)

If you want to start trading on the system, or close a position, use one of the following links to do so:

 

 

To Start Trading?

 

  • To start trading on any symbol you just double-click on it from the symbol window, and then select number of lots or partial of a lot. sChoose which operation you want: BUY or SELL.
  • You can also click the "New Order" button at the Terminal Window, or from the Trade menu at the Menu Bar choose: New Order (Ctrl+N)).
  • When a client issues a position of trade (non Auto account), the Position goes directly to the BO's chattingswindow waiting for the BO to either accept or reject the position.
  • The BO can reject and so the position is not executed and disappears from both side's windows, and a small message window appears in the client side telling him/her that the BO doesn't like the price offered and that's why it is rejecting it: "Invalid Price Window" (in it the original rejected order is shown).
  • The Back office can also change the price by raising or lowering it (Using the arrows at the left side of the chatting window, the BO can either raise (green arrow) or lower (red arrow) the price), then a message window is sent to the client showing the original order and the new prices and the client has only 5 seconds (or a specified amount of time decided by the Backoffice) to accept, or else the offer disappears: "change Price Window".
  • (The same process happens when a client wishes to close a position, the BO may raise or lower the prices, and the same previous message window appears at the client side waiting for his acceptance).
  • The Trade Menu at the menu bar gives you the following options regarding the trade process:

 

New Order, New Limit/Stop Order.

 

 

Closing Positions?

 

  • You can close your position by a double-click on the selected position in the terminal window, or right click on it and choose: Close Position (Or Manual Close Position).
  • (the right click menu on a position in the terminal window, also offers options like: New Order, and Manage Limits/Stops ).
  • Notice that the New Order Window that opens, has two buttons:

 

Close Position: clicking on this button will close the position, this position will be queued again inssssss pending orders window awaiting the confirmation from the target back-office.

 

Close By Hedge: clicking on it will do a Close by Hedge after you choose the hedged ticket number.

 

(The same currency must have a Sell operation and a Buy operation to close each other out).

 

  • After closing the position, it'll be transferred to the history Tab in terminal window.

 

 

 

 

 

Managing Orders

A Client can manage the following orders:

 

SL: Stop Loss

 

This is an order that used to set up limiting losses on a trade and will be executed near the market rate. For a buy order, the order rate will be higher than the current market rate. If it is a sell order,the order rate will be lower than the current market rate.

 

TP : Take Profit

 

This is an order that used to set up taking the profit on a trade. For a buy order, the order rate must be lower than the current offer rate. If it is a sell order the order rate must be higher than the current bid rate.

 

  • So, you either manage Limit/Stop orders, or SL/ST orders:

 

 

Manage SL/TP

 

  • To enter an order, select the position you want to set SL and/or TP orders, then click Manage SL/TPs button in Terminal window, the system will create a window called Manage Position. Enter lots amount, SL and/or TP values, then click on Submit.
  • The created order will remain at the pending window till it hits,syou can edit an existing order by right clicking on it and choose "edit order".
  • You can also add multi-record to either limit your order by stop loss or take profit each by asnumber of lots and specified price
  • When the small window called "Manage Position" appears (after clicking the button "Manage SL/TP" at the terminal window), you set the order you want by setting the desired number of Lots, and either text field of the SL or TP or both. then, if there was an already existing order, you can select it, then click on the Edit Order button, (or double click the existing order you want to edit), a small window appears to you to edit the order.
  • To cancel an order, press the "Cancel Order" button when the "Manage Position" window appears, or when the order is at the pending window, right click on it and choose "Cancel Order".

 

And At the Pending Orders window:

 

The Pending Orders window lists all your orders that remain pended until its price hit, to be executed in the chatting window waiting for the back office’s confirmation.

All orders that are Managed (have a condition on them waiting to become true), stay in the pending Window in the client side, and when they come true they move to the lower part of the chatting Window of the BO waiting to be accepted or ignored.

 

Limit/Stop Orders

 

  • You can make a Limit and Stop orders that let you enter the market at any price. You can set a SL and/or TP orders within the order to manage the future position from now.
  • To enter an order, right click on the symbol you want to make an order in, and select Limit/Stop Order from the context menu, Or select New Limit/Stop Order from the drop down menu (Trade in the Menu Bar), or from the icon s on the Tool bar, the system will create a window called New Limit/Stop Order. Enter order information (Symbol, Lots, Type (Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Stop), Order Price, SL and TP), then click on New.
  • The created order will remain at the pending window till it hits, you can edit an existing order by right clicking on it and choosing "edit order". And also Cancel the order in the pending window, by right clicking on the order and choosing "Cancel Order".

SMS Services

 

  • There is a special feature in VertexFx, which is the SMS service .
  • #A message can be sent to any client notifying them of their status and how much money they have.
  • #Mobile number is filled when creating a client and should be in this format (962796487222).
  • You can either Click on the Mobile icon Mobile Icon  from the tool bar under the menu bar, or from the menu bar

 

select Trade then choose "Send SMS Summary" after you have selected an account, and a message containing the following information will be sent to that account's owner:

How to get reports and statements:

 

  • WEB-Based fast Statement can be created after selecting statement and choosing the period, you need your statement through.

 

Reviewing Historical Trades:

 

  • You can get all your trading activity, by selecting Statement from the drop down menu (Trade), and set the From and To dates, then click on Report (you will have an HTML statement report of all history activity you ask for).
  • Or right click on any client or IB, Broker, or Account, then choose: "statement(s)", a small window appears for you to set the dates you desire.
  • This statement is divided into 3 areas:

  1. Open positions area.
  2. Closed and settled positions.
  3. Pending Orders.
  4. Account Summary. 

 

Automatic Demo Account Generation

 

  • When you first download the client terminal, a box pops up for you asking you to generate a demo account in order to practice on using the system (then when created, a message box pops out giving you a username and a password), and also an email is sent to welcome you and in it you'll also find the Username and Password.

Sounds

 

  • The Sounds tab Option gives you the ability to control the sounds of the system the way you prefer to
  • When you click on the Sounds tab, you'll get a table with two fields;slists for you the most important actions at the back office (Sound Description) and their (sound files), a right click on any row gives you a context menu with the following fields:

 

Test Sound Clicking on it plays the sound for you so you can test it.
Change Sound Clicking on it plays the sound for you so you can test it.
Test Sound Clicking on it gives you a small box "Choose Sound File", from which you can change the existed sound to any sound you prefer.
Default Sound Restores the default sound of this particularšSound description-action you've chosen.
Default All Sounds Restores all the original sounds for you instead of all the changed ones.

 

  • Then to close the whole Options tab, Press the OK Button.
  • You have to Re-Logon in order for your changes to be reflected for you.

 

Popup Message Box

 

  • The Check Boxes Mean:

 

Show On Client Logon Checking this check box allows the option of: The message pops up telling you that client X has just signed in.
Show On Client Logout Checking this check box allows the option of: The message pops up telling you that client X has just signed Out.
Show when new mail received Checking this check box allows the option of: The message pops up telling you that you have a new mail and the client who sent it.

 

Note: Checking the previous check boxes activates them, if you do not wish to be informed of who just signed in or out for example, you simply uncheck the check boxes correspondent to these options, and the messages won't pop up for you any more.

 

  • The Sliders Mean:

 

Message Speed Gives you the ability tošcontrol the speed at which the message appears to you.
Message Delay Gives you the ability to control the amount of time the message is displayed to you before it disappears.

 

  • The Button: "Set Default", resets all the changes you've made back to the default settings.
  • TThen to close the whole Options tab, Press the OK Button.
  • You have to Re-Logon in order for your changes to be reflected for you.

 

The Toolbar Icons

 

In order from left to right:

 

New Order To make an order for trade. 
New Limit/Stop Order To make a Limit/Stop order (Ctrl+S).
Refresh Data To refresh the system’s data (also chosen from the Trade menu (F5)).
Statement To create a Statement (report) within a certain period of time.

Sends an SMS containing summary of your current market state

Sends an email containing summary of your current market state.
Broadcast Message Displays the Broadcast Message window for you.
Log on To log on to the system.

Pending Orders Displays/Hides the Pending window for you.
